Da Capo II: ななかでラヴ~
I finished Nanaka’s path for Da Capo II today. Nanaka forever!
Although Nanaka’s power is similar to Kotori’s, her story is somewhat different. In many ways, it can even be said that she is better than Kotori. (forgive me Kotori. ;_;)
Well, I’m too lazy to write a proper review now, especially since I haven’t played through any other paths, which I will only do after a full walkthrough is released. For now, here’s a bunch of pictures of Nanaka! イエー!~

If u were so kind to remove the textboxes b4 screenshooting… :D~
And something amazing: I never expected to see Koko with a guitar and actually playing it. I thought she was too shy for that…

I’m not going to because I am evil… bwahahaha
Anyway, she plays the bass. The main character plays the guitar.

Mike, sorry I accidentally deleted your comment. Please repost if you see this.
Anyway, Mike posted a walkthrough for D.C. II. However, it is still unable to confirm the exact criterias needed to unlock Otome and Yume…
Based on my discussions with Otaru on IRC last night, the criteria is probably for the player to have played through every single event at least once. I’m too lazy to test the hypothesis out, so I’ll wait until a complete walkthrough confirms it. I sort of want to try Otome’s story…

It’s alright, probably shouldn’t have put a well labeled spoiler in there anyway. From what I seen, You probably need to at least beat Koko’s, Nanaka’s, Anzu’s, and Minatsu’s arcs (that guide tells you were to put saves in so you are able to do this quickly) before you can get to Yume and Otome (which would explain why Otome and Yume aren’t on the opening menu, but the other 4 girls are, most likely when you accomplished the four arcs Yume and Otome will be shown.) and after you beat Yume’s and Otome’s arc you get one last arc with….well you have to find that out for yourself.
I also have to comment that it’s pretty nice that once you go through any particular scene, if you happen to happen to replay it, the game will quickly summarize what happened instead of bore you with all the entire scene again.

Correction, it looks like you only need to only beat 2 paths before Otome and Yume are unlocked.

Well finished Nanaka’s and 1/2 of Koko’s storylines so far. I don’t have the first game to compare with since I never beat it, but Nanaka’s storyline had me vibing parts of Kotori’s from the anime. Not that’s a necessarily bad thing ;)
BTW, I perfer women with longer hair but I’ll have to admit Nanaka still looked pretty cute with short hair! And damn that chinese dress as PJs… hehehe

Nanaka with short hair? What have you been smoking… >_<
Or are you talking about Koko?
Mike:
There was another semi-completed walkthrough by a guy who completed Koko first and then Nanaka (that’s two endings). But Yume and Otome were only unlocked for him after he completed Anzu too.
This leads me to believe that the unlocking is based on events rather than the girls. Nanaka and Koko have different Christmas Party events, but they share the same New Year and Band events, whereas all of Anzu’s events are different from Nanaka.
Therefore the fastest way to unlock Yume and Otome SHOULD be Anzu + Nanaka endings. I’m just waiting for a full guide to confirm it in detail.

So what it looks like is that you have to clear either Minatsu or Anzu and you have to clear either Koko or Nanaka for the Asakuras to be unlocked.
