WOWOW’s director’s cut version, summary episode + a completely new work? “Shuffle! Memories” airing this winter.
I shall confirm this when I get my hands on a copy of Newtype in about 4 days or so. But basically it sounds like this “Shuffle! Memories” thing will contain new content, though it’s not clear what it’s exactly relationship to the first TV series will be. Half summary half new content, maybe? Anyway there will be a new OP and ED to look forward to, at the very least.
Based on the game, I think there’s really not much left to cover, so maybe it’s completely original side stories? Or maybe, Haruhi forbids, an alternate Kaede ending? (I am so not watching that!)
I, for one, am rooting for a Kareha ending! (Let a guy have his dream, okay?)

lol agree, Kaede ending is so “oh, i knew it’ll end like this”, Kareha on the other hand, would have more room for development IMHO, cant wait for confirmation of this new series

I see. If this is an OVA, then perhaps this is what would happen if he chose a different girl (one for each OVA episode). Or it could be a continuation of the original series. I hope it’s the former because then (like Kurogane says) KAEDE ENDING (and I hope you, DarkMirage, were joking about it NOT being Kaede. Hang your head in shame. DEEPER! That’s not enough shame!)

I want a Nerine Ending!!
That way, they will have a good excuse to make an OAV series based in TICK TACK, with Nerine’s mom, Sia’s mom and young Fordesii.

Well, I never finished watching Shuffle! but I know most of the endings. Unfortunately for you, Kareha never had an ending in the game (nor in any side versions either if I recall) so you’re probably shit outta luck on that. What I would honestly hope for is.. perhaps.. a string of OVAs or whatever with an ending for each girl, but that’s probably too much to hope. Honestly, I don’t understand everyone’s obsession with Kaede.. she’s just.. so.. cliche’d and canon. Even if she does go a little psycho. Honestly, I’m hoping for a Nerine ending as well (or maybe Primula, I need more back info on everyone’s favorite loli-non), as a Tick! Tack! anime would rock. SAGE!!! … Ok, I’m done.

I say Asa + Kareha ending. :3
But goodness, I was happy with the original, Asa’s my favorite. She started my love for green haired girls.
And if not my first choice, either a Kikyou or Nerine ending!

Nermie, Kareha did have an ending. Go look for “Shuffle! on the stage” for PS2.

heh maybe a SHUFFLE! series with a breasted Mayumi….. nah.
Maybe this series will be more like “On the Stage” was and focus more on Kahara or Mayumi.

Hm. I haven’t seen any of the stuff from Shuffle! on the stage. Then again, I don’t look at PS2 ports of h-games. Ah well. Regardless, it’d be better if the new anime had endings for main characters of the original game, not the additional endings for characters in a non-h port. You may think it kinda shallow of me (not that I don’t love non-h dating sims and whatnot) but, eh.. I don’t really like it when they make a previously H game non-h, though the H usually isn’t necessary to the story.. it kinda draws something away from it when it’s not there anymore. I dunno, maybe it’s just me.
