Life-size Saber for your guilty pleasure

DMM.com is selling life-size Saber figurines for those of you out there with money flowing out of your water taps! (Such as, oh I don’t know… this guy?) This is your chance to one-up all those self-proclaimed hardcore F/SN fanboys fapping to Saber x Rin doujin porn on 4chan! (hint: not me)

This custom-made Saber from Paper Moon was on display during the recent Wonder Festival 2006 Summer. Now she can be yours for the price of just 480,000 yen (tax included) or your first born! That’s about 4000 USD (the yen, not the baby).

The figurine will be on sale exclusively through the DMM.com website. She comes in three versions: the movable joints in dress and leg armour version, the movable joints in casual clothing version and the fixed-pose soft material in casual clothing version.

The leg joints are quite visible (and ugly) if you pull down the socks (gee, why would anyone ever do that?), which is why a jointless version made of more flexible material is offered. The jointed versions are made with FRP (fibre-reinforced plastic) while the softer version is made from polyurethane rubber. The legging armour is FRP with a metallic coating.

Saber measures 154cm tall and has a shoe-size of 23.5cm. All three versions cost the same. Replicas of Excailbur and Caliburn measuring 117cm long are included. You can also purchase each sword separately for 150,000 yen.

I wonder what’s the market size in Japan for this. Damn rich Japanese otaku.

Visit Moeyo! (they were loaned a set for photo-taking and other lewd purposes) for more pictures.

If you ask me… She looks creepy. I don’t really lik doll-liked faces. I MIGHT get sword though. =X

  2. shiachan says:

    i guess u get one … oneday…

  3. berz says:

the saber from the right on the first pic, the face looks good(maybe its just the angle hehe) making me wonder if they can do the same with those small models 1/something

i’m not into those stuff, but i’m kinda curious. besides resin. other works can be found in which materials?

  4. DarkMirage says:

Almost everything that comes pre-painted is made of PVC (Polyvinyl chloride or Polychloroethene).

  5. Skane says:

If I wanted a doll, I would have preferred to get a Rozen Maiden.

  6. exalt dragon says:

    “She looks creepy.”
I agree, unless I am someone who really likes FSN, I don’t think I would get the doll/figurine. Why, it may come alive one day and ask me if I am her/it’s master.

A frightening thought. the sword is cool thought.

  7. Tsubaki says:

Am I the only person that think she looks hot? Of course not her price tag though.
She needs to be made into a Candy Girl and I’m sure everyone will fork 4k for it.

  8. Otaru says:

    OMG!

… no, this is not about the figure, it’s about the site D:

  9. pKjd says:

What? No Dark Saber version? Unbelievable. The other figures fail to appeal to my fet– I mean immediate interest.

  10. Neohybrid_kai says:

more interest in life sized Rin (so you can make those scene in the doujinshi in life size) lol
I wonder how fast this item going to be out of stock

  11. Toonleap says:

Overall, it is a nice real size figure of Saber…
Sword looks great, with lots of detail…
but I must admit, the only things I dont like
are the overall look of the face. I know it is Saber
but I dont feel she is. The eyes and the shape of
the face dont look the same as the anime or the
game, and for the tag price, they could have done
a better job. Even the smaller 1/6
or 1/8 scale figures looks more alike to the anime
and game counterparts of Saber. Probably if I own
an anime store, I will buy this and place her in
the entrance to guard the store…

  12. Deathy says:

“Mom, I got a girlfriend! But she can’t move, speak or anything…so please excuse us now while we do some stuff here ok?”

But I’ve to agree with bj0rN`, getting the sword might be a good purchase.

  13. moetics says:

    She fails for being 3D.

  14. berz says:

dark saber with goth-loli clothing would sell a lot more :3

anyway. sword-replicas are…. hmm well u see. u cant cut with it =(
and since it was like, two weeks since i saw a real japanese katana… replicas are no fun heh (something like heian period, behind a thick box of glass, a shame we could not swing it)

  15. Tim says:

There’s something really wrong with that doll. Reminds me of the time someone dressed up as Belldandy and put a mask of her face on. Creepy….

  16. cyw1988 says:

Ah… If only she existed in real life and not the doll lol… To me spending so much on something made of PVC is just nuts… =X

  17. DrmChsr0 says:

Are those swords sharp enough to slice through human flesh?

  18. helspectre says:

are there anatomical details included to enhance roleplaying of shirou’s experiences with said female?

  19. DarkMirage says:

    No and no.

    At least I hope not.

  20. DuronDude says:

the eyes is painted. I hope made from eye balls

  21. LoserEXE says:

Boy… That figurine is almost as tall as me… (I’m like what, 158 CM?)

  22. Zam says:

I have a better idea… why don’t you just buy Saber’s dress and than ask your girlfriend to put it on ;) hehehe…

  23. ecchilover says:

i’d rather use the doll to pratice raping, licking, fingering, kissing, and all those other horny things guys do to hot girls

  24. Anon says:

Is she even “anatomically correct” so you can do “such a thing” to her/it.

  25. babesonwheels says:

i shot of silicon enhanced material on the bosom would be a divine blessing to all of us lonely guys here.

…besides, there is no law regarding sexually harassing a doll, is there?

  26. Cool says:

“more interest in life sized Rin (so you can make those scene in the doujinshi in life size) lol”

LOL! Epic statement and idea there! I really can’t stop laughing at it! XDDDDD

I might want one but it feels so creepy having life-sized stuff as they look like they’d suddenly kill you.
