My national TV debut
All 0.3 seconds of it!
Channel U recently aired a TV special covering the new cosplay maid cafe that just opened in Singapore last month. I was there on New Year’s Eve when they took some of the footages and was caught by the camera pan in this frame!
You can watch the video yourself after the jump, which includes an interview (in Chinese) with LianYL. LOL! LOL! LOL! Video is in Mandarin Chinese (or as close as it gets in Singapore).

小姐 is what I use for girls that I don’t know (eg waitresses). I haven’t gotten slapped just yet. But if I was talking about girls in general like Nic, I would have used 女孩儿.

I guess this calling Girls as “Mei Mei” is all influence from Taiwan people who always address chicks as “Mei Mei”.
