Happy Birthday to KOTOKO and me!
Okay, it’s one day late, but not if we go by GMT-4. 19th of January is (was) my 18th birthday! Did I ever mention that KOTOKO’s birthday is on 19 January too? Yay! Happy Birthday!

Tsubaki organized a birthday party for me yesterday and a whole bunch of guys from #SGanimebloggers (and one girl) on rizon were there.
We ate steamboat at a place in Bugis. There were 18 (or was it 19) of us and the restaurant split us into four tables. I spent the whole time moving from one table to another.
Tj han got me Nirvash.

He also baked me a (allegedly) cake! It was nothing but chocolate and tasted like brownies. It also contained enough sugar in a single crumb to kill a diabetics person. And he only brought one candle. Cheapskate! I forgive him because Nirvash is cool.
Tsubaki invited Yuki all the way from Japan to celebrate my birthday. I would have preferred Haruhi, but oh well. Okay, so it was actually umehiko. She drew a lot of stares at Bugis MRT when we were gathering. LOL. Can you imagine wearing that and eating steamboat in an under ventilated basement? 苦しそう・・・
Everyone sang a birthday song to the tune of any anime-related songs. Then the final group birthday song was replaced by COLORS (Code Geass OP1). LOL. Best birthday song ever. I made a wish (”world peace”) and blew out the only candle. (Granted its diameter was like 10cm)

I played Time Crisis 4 for a bit (and I do mean a bit. I died in like 4 seconds) and we all gathered to watch bj0rn, our resident pro-gamer, show off his l33t skillz at Melty Blood and DrumMania. He has no life and spend all his free time playing games instead of doing more useful things like watching anime.
We dropped by Cosafe on the way back and I met Zer0 for the first time.
All in all a really interesting birthday. Thanks guys!
P.S. Windbell, being the only guy with a DSLR, was the designated photographer and all the pictures are with him. I will probably upload some when he sends them over.

to typical singaporeans, you hack the law and play h-games at the age of 15….you start drinking even before you reach the age due to work stress and influences from working adults who pull you into ktvs and you get tempted to try a mouth and drinks on forever(HE DRANK!!! b4..but who cares..) and start smoking at the age of 16………….disturbing but true……..anw, its great to see kallen and haruhi-sama celebrating bdae wif you. here’s to you: happy 18 birthday!! you can happily start to post more NSFW things onlinE!!!! XD

[...] While I should be at home, eating grass (i.e. saving $) for a new computer, 17 (or 18?) people from #SGAnimeBloggers on Rizon were in the process of celebrating DarkMirage’s birthday. Instead, I found myself driving in the rain to pick up HSK at Clementi (it stopped raining when I reached, grr). Then I proceeded to Ngee Ann and rendezvoused with another friend of ours, and we proceeded to visit the School of InfoComm Technology. Well, it’s been such a long time that I have been there - the eGarage has changed alot, and the IT support personnel have been relocated elsewhere which I don’t know. Saw Ng Poh Oon at the eGarage, and he told us to check out the 4th floor, as there are more interesting stuff to see then the eGarage. When we took the lift (still unchanged, besides the walls of the elevator being changed) up to the 4th floor, we found that the entire floor of block 27 has changed drastically - the MMTC on the 6th floor has been dismissed, and the furniture and other stuff in the room has been separated. There were 2 computer labs, a few tutorial rooms, a sound recording room, a photography room with green screen, a “classical” animation studio (as in, real-life models), and a few other smaller rooms for students to work in. THEY HAVE MACS NOW. Well, what can we do? Time moves, and changes are made. Oh, we ran into Melvin Tan and Jim Ang there, as they are managing the whole floor. After visiting the 4th floor, we proceeded to the Convention Centre, where the “main bulk” of our past tutors and lecturers were. [...]

Happy ‘late’ Birthday man. Although I came here with nothing more than wishes that you would survive another year (yes I say that to everyone so kill me if you’d like). Also I wish I had 1337 skillz at Melty Blood and Drum-Mania orz…being Asian and sucking at games is hard in a society where everyone looks at your stereotypes…DAMN AMERICA >
