StarCraft 2
StarCraft 2 was announced by Blizzard at its Worldwide Invitational event held in Seoul just over one and a half hours ago.
The game has not been finalized yet, but so far it looks just like what you would expect a sequel to StarCraft to look like. See the screenshots at IGN.com.

Originally the announcement today was speculated to be a StarCraft MMORPG due to sightings of Blizzard’s job posting for positions related to next-gen MMO game development, but apparently it turned out to be unrelated. Maybe for future additions to World of Warcraft?
Anyway, whatever the case is, StarCraft 2 is coming; South Korea’s productivity to drop by 70% in the next 5 years.

Well i saw some of the video, though i was to busy playing halo to acutally watch the thing at my friends house. Um, the graphics on it don’t really look as cool as starcraft one and broodwar. I am totally excited about it too. But I would defiantly have thought the graphics wouldn’t look like what they do.

Starcraft 2 = Even more additional pylons.
Or maybe not. THe protoss have got ‘em Phase Prisms now.
At least we still keep the Zerg Rushes.

The best thing about the first StarCraft is the gameplay. I’m a big fan of StarCraft and I’m looking forward to acquiring SC2. I hope this is not a disappointment like many Command and Conquer games.
