Cosfest VII

Cosfest VII was held over the weekends at Downtown East. It is an annual cosplaying convention, home to the Singapore qualifying round for the World Cosplay Summit in Nagoya, Aichi, along with other animé-related events and competitions. Also, the cutest Haruhi cosplayer ever. :O

Cosfest VI — Karaoke Competition

Wow I finally uploaded these. My internet connection was acting screwy last week and YouTube uploads kept failing. Day 1 of Cosfest VI‘s highlight was an anime karaoke competition. As usual Rika and Mizuki rocked. YouTube videos of their performances embedded after the jump.

Cosfest VI — tons of cosplay photos

Cosfest is finally over. I am so tired from two entire days of photo-taking. It’s been 24 hours and my hands still ache from carrying a camera that weighs at least 24.43 jillion pounds. I’ve been feeling feverish the whole day because of a throat infection. In fact, I was feeling pretty shitty throughout the 2-day event. Anyway, it’s finally over. I took a lot of pictures this time. But before we get to the pictures…

SOS-Dan does Lucky Star dance at Cosfest VI

A group of Haruhi cosplayers performed the Lucky Star OP dance as part of their entry item for the semi-finals of the World Cosplay Summit (Singapore), which is part of Cosfest VI. Here’s a super blur and shaky video of the performance:

Singapore Cosfest 2006

Went to Singapore Cosfest 2006 at Downtown East today. It’s a really small event, but it’s pretty much the best we get. I went there with some school mates and ended up bumping into Shia and Kwok. Also met an acquaintance from years ago. Singapore is really small.

My camera’s batteries went flat soon after I got there, so I didn’t manage to take a lot of pictures…

There was a guy cosplaying as KOS-MOS… I couldn’t bare to take a picture.

Oh yeah, and that girl who performed “ENDLESS STORY” from Nana on stage, that was good. I love that song so much that I kept replaying that portion of the movie. :3

Anyway, we wandered around the event area for a bit before heading to White Sands for dinner and finally Kwok’s house to ~~look at his pr0n collection~~ help him set up Winny/Share. We ended up watching the first episode of Coyote Ragtime Show (which I had already watched). It’s looking good so far. All hail the killer loli’s.
