Half-Life 2

Many hints are being dropped by Valve on the anouncement of Half-Life 2. In a recent issue of “Edge”, (a good gaming magazine or so I’m told) a picture of a crowbar (and its shadow) forms the shape of “2” with the words “In one more month” (might not be exact wording) printed on top. PCGamer, in the “Next Month” section on the last page, said:

BIGGEST. GAME. EVER
We kid you not. Don’t buy other magazines until you see our exclusive blowout coverage of what’s certifiably the biggest game currently in developement…

If it IS HL2, (and chances are good that it is) that means Valve has learnt a lesson with Team Fortress 2. It was announced and hyped up waaaaay too early and since then it became a common joke around HL fans circles to say things like “Has TF2 gonegold yet?”. This time Valve waited till it was almost done before announcing its existence. According to the “one month” part, chances are it will be announced during E3.
