Freelancer – PC Game

Back from another day of school zzzzzZzzzzZZz. Almost fell in sleep in class today, lessons were boring like hell…

Anyway, I’m now addicted to Freelancer, a space-based rpg-like game. You are a freelancer (mercenary) and you can basically go anyway, take up any job, or even earn money without jobs (robbing, mining) There is a main story line which you can choose not to follow (but you probably will) and damn it is cool! The things you do affects your standing with other factions (if you follow the main story line, you will be working for Liberty Security Force and Liberty Rogues will attack you on sight for being such a goodie goodie)

The game itself plays like an RPG game with a FPS control. You use your mouse to aim and shoot and enemy craft will sometimes drop items when they die. (Which you have to collect using your tractor beam) Your level upping depends not on experience point, but on your total “worth”, this includes your money, the worth of your ship and weapons and the worth of your cargo.

The graphics is quite good and on the highest settings, there is almost NO loading at ALL! (each loading takes less than 7 secs)

I give it 8.8/10
Give it a try, you will not regret it*
