Matrix Reloaded

I just saw matrix reloaded and I must say…it sucked a lot. The movie has nothing new from the orginal so the surprise element is gone. The movie had too mucho mushy scenes, which was a bad director decision. The movie was too predictable except for the ending twist. The action sequences are still good…but it just doesn’t feel the same as it did with the first one. However, I love its take on religiion. (one word: Architect, see the movie and you will understand)

BTW if you still don’t know yet, matrix is full of religious reference, bascially a merge of greek mythology and the bible. Here’s some:
1. The last human city is called Zion
2. Their ship is called The Nebuchadnezzar
3. Neo’s last name, Anderson, means “Son of Man”, a New Testament title of Christ
4. The hull of the ship bears a plate reading “Mark III No. 11”. In the Bible, Mark 3:11 reads, “Whenever the unclean spirits saw him, they fell down before him and shouted, ‘You are the Son of God!’”
5. That guy who betrayed them in the first movie, Cypher…Lucypher…Lucifer, sounds familiar?
More from here.

Anyway I give the movie:
6.8/10
