Another 3D animation by Pizar and distributed by Disney. At the opening, there was a short animation done by Pixar in 1989. (they used RenderMan, heh)
The story is about young Nemo being separated from his father, who went on a journey to find his son. Along the ways he and Nemo met a lot of different sea creatures. The story is set near Australia, so some of the critters have Australian accent. (there was a hippie sea turtle)
The story was good, save for the fact that some parts were logic defying. For example. why would fishes be afraid of a cliff in the sea? Why will they fall at all? Can’t they just swim up or down as they like…?
While dad is travelling around the ocean with a short-term memory “natural-blue” fish, Nemo was caught by a dentist and put into a fish tank with some…mentally unstable…fishes. (ok, not really unstable, but at least one of them) Hilarity ensures.
The most mind-boggling part was that the shark on the movie poster did not get more than 15 minutes of airtime…
Anyway,
9/10
