Final Fantasy Unlimited

Back from guitar practice, just finished watching FFU -_-;

Anyway the storyline was crap, the animation is good enough and the sound effects are good. There are many references to the “real” FFs, like the name of the Summoned Creatures, (Pheonix, Ixion, etc) and the FF trademark characters. (Cid, Chocobo and Moogle) The storyline has a FF feel to it (although even FF8, the official crappy storyline FF, had a better one) and the battles in the first few episodes felt like the game…whenever the good guys win, you can hear the famous Battle Victory song that was in every FF game.

But all the nice gimmicks couldn’t make up for the stupid plot. (I just bearly managed to force myself watch the whole damn 26 episodes)

Final Score:
5.6/10
