Just came back from Funan $270 poorer. My poor poor wallet. T.T I got a Wacom Graphire 2 tablet and WC3: Frozen Throne. The mug that comes with the game was out of stock and they gave me a ticket to collect it…one month later. The tablet was very easy to install as it uses USB, however the wire was JUST nice, almost too short. phew. It feels very weird to hold a pen while looking at the screen. -_-; Anyway the feature I like best is its pressure sensitivity. :) Unlike using mouse, the stroke will act like real paintbrush strokes and be thick in the center and thin towards the edge. (although that depends on whether you apply pressure the whole way through)
Here’s a simple little picture I drew in about 1 minute to break into my tablet:
Clicky
See the strokes. ^_^
The tablet also has some other nifty features, like allowing you to put a image under the transparent cover of the board so you can trace it with the pen. You can also turn the pen over and use it as a eraser. (for programs that support that function, like Photoshop)
UPDATE: I just found a nice little summary of the Warcraft timeline: Drag this into the address bar. Contains spoilers for WC3 and below. (I am still reading, but I have yet to find any spoilers from WC3X: FT) Bascially it puts everything from the games and novels together so you can see where they all fit in the great scheme of events.
