Nullsoft, the makers of WinAmp and Gnutella, relased a program call WASTE. It allows encrypted file transfer to take place between a small network of about 10 to 50 nodes. Bascially every user and server has a key that allows users to swap file privately. This program is of course based on p2p and is open-sourced, 2 things that pisses off Nullsoft’s parent company, AOL. CNN article
Grabbed aa copy in case it ever becomes popular enough. It has an advantage being that the encryptioin will not allow law enforcement agencies to catch the users. However networks are privately run, so you need to be accepted by the host to be admitted to a network.
