Hoshi no Koe

Today’s Jap test was quite easy. ^_^ So far only one question confirmed wrong. (stupid Listening…)

Anyway, today while browsing through a anime-related site thing, I saw a name that caught my eye: Voice of a Distant Star, which tells a story about a “long-distance relationship” and is sci-fi based. This combination, for some reason, reminded me of something. Anyway, after a bit of research, I realized that Voice of a Distant Star, aka Hoshi no Koe, was a 25 minute OVA (original video animation) made by Shinkai Makoto. One look at the poster and I remembered why it all sounded so familiar: I’ve seen it before on fun.s-one.sg’s file-sharing service. Yeah, I remembered hitting myself for not saving that file or even writing down its name. It was a great anime, especially since it manages to create a touching story in 25 minutes…The animation quality was quite high too.

I’m trying to find it right now…Singapore One took down that file, most likely because it was commercially released…

Still pondering whether I should waste 50 USD to play Evangelion: Iron Maiden…Sigh…Why does Gainax have to be run by these heartless maniacs? They screwed the fans like crazy, pumping out all these products, and here I am, willing to pay for it, but do they sell it? Noooooooo…I have to find it on ebay, which does NOT have the PC version for some reason…6 billion people in the world, surely someone has the PC version if it exists…
