ONE LAST DAY OF EXAMS TO GO!!! Today’s mathematics was easier than expected. :D (meh, I’ll never get used to GEP maths lessons, what with the teacher NOT teaching anything most of the time and expect us to know everything) And btw, for those who say it is possible to get a value bigger than 41312432 (like 42xxxxxx or 43xxxxxx) for the last question, here’s my proof. Clicky:
The number 312132 and its mirror image 231213 are perhaps the only 3-sandwiches, or are we wrong? You cannot make the same with only ones and twos, because between the two twos there must be two digits, which have to be ones as these are the only available digits, but that means that between the two ones there are no digits, which is not possible. The only 4-sandwiches are 41312432 and its mirror image. You can make a lot of 7-sandwiches because there are 26 of these, besides their mirror images. There are no n-sandwiches for some values of n; which ones? Send in your recipes at The Tribune or adityarishi99@yahoo.co.in.
Ha! My answer is correct~! The only possible values are 41312432 and 23421314, can you see which is the larger one? Although my explaination/working was less than 4 sentences, at least I did not get the answer wrong.

BTW, now that computer studies assigments have been graded, I took down the “About Me” section and transfered the anime list to the main blog.
