I have just played through the two single player demos for Call of Duty, and I have to say that it is the best WW2 FPS ever! Never before had one made me feel that I’m actually in a war. Medal of Honor: Allied Assault came close, but it ultimately boiled down to a “one-man army” thing where you don’t even need your teammates. This is not the case with CoD, you can’t just charge in by yourself and expect to kill anything. You have to take cover with your teammates in order to survive. I also like the realistic feel of the game. The gunsights are all done perfectly and when a explosion takes place too near you, you go dizzy for a few seconds, with the screen moving around and blurring. (you can even hear the simulated ear-ringing)

I’ll definitely be buying this game when it comes out in Singapore. If the multiplayer is as good as the singleplayer, maybe I’ll even buy the original version…
