Watch Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien! Watch it or die!!!

Really, it’s a very nice anime. The first 2 episodes managed to squeeze in the storyline of what would be a whole season in any other anime, but that’s because they are a sort of “prelude” to what happens in the rest of the series. And episode two is sad… very very sad…

So far only 4 episodes have aired in Japan and they are all available from various fansub groups. Their torrents are listed here: http://animesuki.drwilco.com/series.php/245.html. I recommend the Lunar Anime versions. They release things fast and good.

Sigh, my anime viewing is like my webcomics schedule now… Everyday I have to check for any new episodes for the series I’m viewing. (six series, which gives me new episodes every one or two days. I think two of them share the same air day) Stupid Japan, can’t they air them daily instead of weekly? :(

If only SCV offers the good Japanese channels, I rather watch them raw then have to wait for fansub downloads. [edit- right after I post this, I found the news posted in the blog entry below this]

UPDATE: Just finished watching episode 4. I REALLY REALLY recommend the series to anyone with a sense of sight. I mean, not many series managed to jump to the 34th place in the top 100 list at AnimeNfo.com after just having TWO episodes aired. Really, it is THAT good. As long as the producer keeps up the pace and give a similar quality ending, this series has the potential to reach the top 10. No other anime has ever managed to get me hooked after just 2 episodes. Evangelion did not. Love Hina did not. Neither did Nadesico and Cowboy Bebop. Maburaho came close, but that was just because Dom from MT is watching it. :P

Also, it seems that the WHOLE voice-cast of Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien are first-timers. Not a single one of them has other anime works under their belt. Sigh, I was sooo sure that Mizuki’s voice sounded familiar.
