Eclair

I have to admit, you can’t judge an anime by its filler episodes. Both D.N. Angel and Kiddy Grade kind of lost me for a while after they almost went into one of those routine “one item to steal/villian/whatnot (depending on the series…) per episode”… Luckily those only lasted for three or four episodes and after I got over them, it’s Pure Anime Goodness(tm). Eclair and Lumiere’s relationship in Kiddy Grade is somewhat… suspicious… I mean, why does Lumiere blush sometimes when she talk to Eclair? Huh? Hmmm….

Moving on a series called “Green Green”. No idea what it’s about. That’s how I like my anime though. Evangelion, Nadesico, Cowboy Bebop and others, all of them I watched without the slightest clue what they are about… It just makes things more enjoyable to discover everything on your own. Oh right, no thanks to gene_starwind for spoiling D.N. Angel for me. Pffft… and I tried SOOO hard to avoid that too…

UPDATE: Just watched Green Green OVA and episode 1 of the TV series. (the OVA came out before the series…) What the hell is up with all the fanservices in the OPENING… well, these are plenty of fanservices in the other parts too, but the opening is like an endless barrage of them. And also, somethings in the opening make me want to gorge my eyes out. Pffft… Actually, not just the opening, this is one series that actually lives up to its “ecchi” category in AnimeNfo… *cough* 26 times per second *cough* asoko *cough*

Well, that aside, Green Green seems like an okay series… can’t say it’s anything new or rule-breaking, but I like it. The title still doesn’t make sense though, just like Kiddy Grade.

UPDATE 2: Watching episode 2… I really like the Space 2001 parody… Ahhh… How I miss that trademark music…
