Just watched Kimi ga Nozomu Eien 12.. I torrented it this morning but forgot about till just now… ^^;;

[Spoilers Ahead…]

The story is as SAAAAAAAD as ever, seriously, it’s like all the sorrows in the whole world are combined and given to each of the main characters. They are constantly despressed and it must be a miracle that Takayuki actually laughed, once, in this episode. It’s already the 3rd last episode and it looks like Akane-chan is out of the picture for good. That leaves Haruka, who just woke up from her SECOND coma with no memory of the first, (pffft…how convenient) and Mitsuki, who left Takayuki because she feels she’s a replacement for Haruka. (and probably feeling guilty for sleeping with Shinji)

Meanwhile, Takayuki is as slow-witted as usual, undecesisive at the most important moments. Just when it seemed like there is a ray of hope with Mitsuki, BAM! Takayuki screws things up. DAMMIT. I was hoping Shinji will kill Takayuki and become the main character, but noooooo, the manager had to come and stop him.

This series is going nowhere! HOW can a situation like that have a happy ending? One of those “fake” happy endings maybe, like Takayuki takes the job offer, leaves town, becomes rich and comes back 5 years later… meanwhile Haruka becomes a famous children book writer on topics like “coma”, “how to deal with your hair suddenly growing 4 feet”, “how your boyfriend slept with your bestfriend while you were in coma” and “how to survive a second coma”… and Mitsuki, without the burden that is Takayuki, went back to swimming and became a national swimming champion together with Akane… Shinji became rich too from whatever crappy business he’s supposed to be doing. (I think drugs, or maybe prostitution) Then the four of them met and laughed at their silly teenage antics and live happily ever after.

Fear my “make-crap-up” skillz… I’ll make a good fan fiction writer… IF I CAN STAND THE PAIN AND HORROR OF ACCIDENTALLY STUMBLING UPON A FAN-FIC SITE. I classify fan fictions under “Danger to Mankind”, above AIDS and below Nuclear Weapons.
