Dustbin

Two more episodes left to Scrapped Princess before I finish the series. Yet another series that had a boooooring beginning that I luckily managed to get over and enter the beautiful main plot. I didn’t really expect to like this anime since it looked just like another of those medival fighting type. Well let’s just say there wasn’t much fighting and most of the time was spent on character and plot development. Oh yeah, turns out it wasn’t medival either, (hint: notice what the magic symbols look like…) which was quite a surprise when you started realizing the true nature of the world they were in. (well, I can’t get specific, it will spoil the plot…)

The plot is quite sad though… not as heart-wrenching as say, KimiNozo, but still sad. The OP, Little Wing, and ED, Daichin no la-li-la, felt like a mix of J-pop with Medival/Renaissance-styled music. Strangely appealling. :P Although I have to say, the bagpipe intro for the OP really SUCKS and doesn’t do the song much justice.
