Finally Da Capo is over. The last episode was kind of a letdown… I thought they would have a more dramatic ending.

[SPOILERS]
Nemu is still bonkers and wanders out of the house by herself. Jyunichi looks for her, found Sakura standing by the huge sakura tree instead. Sakura couldn’t stop the tree, which has regrown and is even bigger than before. Semi-emotional scene takes place and Sakura stopped blaming herself for Nemu’s condition. Nemu reaches the sakura tree in her semi-demented state. Magic sakura tree suddenly dies because finally it obeys Sakura’s wishes. (previously it didn’t obey because Sakura wasn’t being sincere, she was secretly hoping to remove Nemu from the picture) Sakura leaves for America again and promises to bring back a boyfriend the next time she returns. Jyunichi and Nemu’s semi-incestuous relationship continues and they live happily ever after. Or at least until their parents return maybe…

In other words, the ending sucked.

Interestingly the songs swapped places. Sonzai became the OP and Sakura Saku Mirai Yume became the ED.
