Uprising

Looks like the situation in Haiti is getting worse. The rebellion has already spread to the centre of Haiti and 3 police officers, including the chief, has been killed. Pretty soon the French will probably do something about this… after all Haiti is an ex-french colony. I’m thinking the best way will be to send GIGN in and capture President Aristide. The rebels have plenty of support and many of the deaths are actually innocent bystanders shot by Aristide’s supporters, so I don’t think it’ll do any good for him to stubbornly stay in power.

USA will probably stay away as much as possible due to the upcoming elections, but they can’t totally ignore something like this happening in the western hemisphere, after all they are the international police/busybody.
