Yay! End of another week of suffering! Good Friday tomorrow! :D Today’s double English was a total waste of time. Our teacher made us sat there and annotate our text for almost one and a half hour, after which she started a lengthy lecture on the advantages of annotation and blaming us for not annotating beforehand. The scolding lasted so long that Aero and I had to eat out lunch on the way to the Third Language Centre.
Speaking of third language, my Japanese teacher called my name THREE times again this lesson. Is my name very easy to call?! Gah. Maybe the sky will fall if she ends a lesson without making me read some stupid textbook lines at least once.
Good Friday tomorrow. Going to Kinokuniya with Aero this time. (notice a pattern here? It seems that every one of my Friday holidays is spent wandering around in Orchard Road)
Meanwhile I’m addicted to the Evangelion Symphony album. Hearing an orchestra perform Evangelion music just sounds too good. Somehow they managed to stretch Fly me to the moon to almost 10 minutes. o_o And the Rap version of Canon & Gigue is just too good. :D I really want to see the faces of those Japanese audience when suddenly some African-American guy comes onto stage and starts rapping in english with an accompanying orchestra, and turns out to be SURPRISINGLY good. The music even fits!! o_o The voice cast of Evangelion also does some small talks in between the songs. Right now, these two-cd worth of stuff are all that is in my playlist. I think this is the first time that I actually liked a mostly non-vocal album, usually I just keep the songs with lyrics. I guess nothing beats Evangelion music done on a grand scale. :)
