Rei

Baaah, Evangelion: GoS 2 is even shorter in length than the first game. And there’s no Mana at ALL!! WTF?! The story follows the “dream reality” that was in episode 25 of the series, where Rei is a cheerful transfered student, Misato is the teacher and Ritsuko is the school nurse etc. Touji and Kaworu didn’t die either and Kensuke is also an Eva pilot. Basically, it has completely nothing to do with the first game. Damn. Well it IS enjoyable, if somewhat easy. Lots more interactivity than the first one and you actually see differences caused by the choices you make. I got the best (IMO) ending on the first try so I don’t want to bother replaying it. Yup, the Rei ending. :P

As far as I can tell, the other endings are either “bad” endings or with Asuka or Kaworu. Haha there was even one were you choose between talking to your father and walking away. If you choose to talk, you will suddenly apologize to each other and the game ends with you having a happy picnic with Gendou. Now THAT’s just creepy.

UPDATE: LoL I was thinking the ED themes to the two games sounded familiar. Turns out they were already in my winamp playlist. :P The ED for the first game is Yokan, which is in Yoko Takahashi’s refrain album and the ED for the second game is Mugen Houyou which is from Evangelion OST 3. Nice songs. :D
