Screwed

Wow, I fucked up really badly today. Long story short, 40gb of my stuff is now unaccessible because Windows Fucking XP thinks that the drive is corrupted. The drive works but Windows just refuses to read it. I could easily recover the files with any data recovery type program and reformat the drive, but the problem is that I don’t have any space to recover the files to. And I shouldn’t even have to recover anything since the drive is working. Windows is the one that’s not. =_=

In a related news, I bought a 200gb SATA drive and Windows refuses to even recognize its existence. Everything comes out perfectly fine in BIOS:

Primary Master	Seagate 120gb SATA (boot disk)
Secondary Master	WD 200gb SATA (not detected by Windows)
Third Master	Seagate 40gb (detected as D: but “corrupted”)
Third Slave	Maxtor 40gb (not detected by Windows, the disk might be faulty so… not important)
Fourth Master	DVD Writer
Fourth Slave	CD Writer

So the only working drive is my system drive, which is lucky considering the fact that my most important files are on it, (32gb of songs) and the fact that it is the fricking boot disk. Now I’m stucked with 7gb of usable free space and 240gb of unusable free space.

On a happier note, I found twenty five DVD-Rs for 19 SGD. Hurray…

Ohh yeah, I watched Kimagure Orange Road Movie 2 and Koko wa Greenwood today… BOTH OF THEM ARE ON THE CORRUPTED 40GB DISK RIGHT NOW. Maybe it’s luck that I felt like watching them today. Before I screwed the things up. The second movie is REAAAAAAAALLY good. ;_; Finally everything is resolved perfectly. (unlike the typical anime, it actually goes BEYOND the ending of its manga counterpart, which I have the scans. All 18 volumes) Koko wa Greenwood was surprisingly good too. (downloaded it one year ago… noticed it today for some reason) Looking for Greenwood’s manga…… Six OVA is just too short. (although it’s more like 8 TV episodes, since each OVA is 27 minutes)
