I’m back home from the Japanese School. The test itself was pretty okay. Not too easy, even slightly tougher than some past year papers, but it was certainly within the expected parameters. 私は勝った(と思うけど…)。ぶぃ V(^_^)
Yes, the test itself wasn’t the difficult part…
The difficult part was going there and coming back. There is only one bus service from Tanah Merah MRT to the Japanese School, and a few hundred people going there. Going there wasn’t that bad. I managed to squeeze myself into the first bus arriving at the stop. I was the last one to manage to get onto the fully-packed double-decker and ended up being squashed against the front door for the twenty minutes it took to get there. The return trip was worse because everyone’s test ended at the same time… Well, it would have been worse, but I met Carl by chance and hitched a ride to Newton MRT. If I had waited for a bus, I’d still be at that bus stop right now.
I seriously hope that I don’t take another paper there ever again. Other than being totally inaccessible (except possibly if you own a private helicopter), the chairs and desks there are for primary kids and uncomfortable as hell. (the back of the chair says 138-151cm…)
Still, it was an interesting experience.
