angela

Although it’s been on angela’s official site for quite some time, CDJapan has finally added YOU GET TO BURNING to their catalogue. (And if you think I actually go looking for new angela CDJapan entries… I don’t. It’s just that angela is one of the artists in my newsletter subscription)

Anyway, the title is not a coincidence, this is a rendition of the OP of Martian Successor Nadesico by angela. The same single will also contain a rendition of the Prince of Darkness movie ending “Dearest”. These two songs are being redone for the upcoming Nadesico R2 DVD-Box release.

I’m looking forward to this single as I liked angela’s rendition of Evangelion’s “Zankoku na Tenshi no Te-ze” very much, the same rendition that caught the attention of King Records and brought about angela’s major debut “Asu e no Brilliant Road” in the first place. I just wish I could get my hands on those mythical angela CDs that were released before their record label contract…
