Sony

So, I was walking around Kinokuniya yesterday when I saw the newly-released Seikai novel, Seikai no Danshou (星界の断章).

Basically, it’s a collection of twelve short stories set in various part of the Seikai timeline. They explain some backstories that were never fully told in the original series. The story told in the OVA of the same title is in this book as one of the chapters.

…I didn’t buy it. Not surprising considering the fact that I have yet to finish the Seikai no Monshou novel series. Uuuu…

Went to Sim Lim Square after Kinokuniya… and ended up getting a PSP. I’m now officially broke for not just this month, but the rest of this year.

I got a Japanese imported non-Value pack for 350 SGD instead of a Asia/Singapore Value pack for 455 SGD because I don’t want to pay 100 bucks just for a lame case, a 32mb Memory Stick, a fricking “PSP” (*cough*handphone) strap and a pair of white earphones with remote. Although I’m somewhat interested in a remote if one is ever released seperately, I’m not paying 100 bucks just for that. Of course, the disadvantage of an import is the lack of warranty… but hey, I didn’t need no warranty for my gameboys and PSX. And my PSP has zero dead pixels! I tested it for 10 minutes at the shop. XD One thing about the Japanese PSP and PlayStations in general, the O button is used for selection while the X is used for cancellation. Makes more sense if you think about the symbols. It’s been a long time since I touched my PSX, so I had no trouble adjusting.

The protective casing is that Logitech one which is indeed as good as people say. The mini-Type B USB cable came from my Sony digicam, but it’s easily obtainable seperately from most digicam shops. Right now, the only game I have is Tales of Eternia. It has to last me for quite a long time until I can get enough money for another game… Do’h! Not that I’m saying it’s a bad game; It’s pretty good. ;)

All the pictures were taken with my phone… because I still don’t know where my camera has been since moving house… lol…
