It’s official, I have clinically-proven prescient powers. Here’s a 100%-factual account of my psychic abilities at work.

Tuesday, Kouta and I went to Comics Connections at Bishan Junction 8 and we saw the Gundam SEED DESTINY EF3 figurine set on sell in their original packaging. I did order a set from La Tendo, but I had to cancel it because of my current economic downturn as detailed in some of my older entries… Anyway, being in their original packaging, the figurines are packed randomly into individual boxes and it takes a lot of luck to get what you want. Kouta bought two and ended up with Heine and Meer, the two characters from that set he hates most (excluding Shinn that is). He bought a third box and I told him that it was another Heine. He didn’t believe me and opened it. It was a Heine. Score 1.

A few days later, Kouta wanted to go to Pizza Hut for dinner because he had a voucher for it. The nearest one is back at Ang Mo Kio, my old neighbourhood. On the way that I said that I hadn’t been to that area for quite some time and the place probably closed down already. And it did. The store front was for lease. Score 2.

So on the way to KFC, we passed by the brand new AMK branch of Comics Connection. Kouta, still having not learnt his lesson, purchased another box of EF3. Before he paid for it, I said that it was Meer inside the box. He didn’t believe me and bought it anyway. It was a Meer. Score 3.

Three for three. Even fortune cookies aren’t that accurate. I predict that world hunger will be solved by 2050, humans will land on Mars three years later and I will be a multi-gazillionaire (in no way related to the Martian landing). Yup.

On another note, I gave in to temptation and ordered that Misaki Itou Calendar. I’m so weak. orz
