I’m now addicted to listening to “Be For Me, Be For You” from the Love Hina Again OVAs. There are 3 OVAs and also 3 versions of the song, one for each of the endings of 3 episodes. The lyrics are exactly the same, but the different speed and instruments really changes the mood of the song. The Naru version sounds somewhat lonely, the Kanako version sounds sad and the Keitaro version sounds reeeally happy. (the Keitaro version is actually sang by both Naru and Keitaro’s seiyuu, Horie Yui and Ueda Yuuji) BTW, Ueda Yuuji also voiced Tenkawa Akito from Nadesico. Megumi Hayashibara of Rei Ayanami fame also played a regular character in Love Hina and she sang many of the song tracks, including the opening theme, Sakura Saku.
I like all 3 versions of “Be For Me, Be For You”. Right now my playlist in Winamp and my MP3 player consists of ONLY this 3 variations. In a continous loop. Heck with the other songs until I can memorise its lyrics by heart…
And I forgot to mention, I finished the 25-episode Love Hina series + Christmas Special + Spring Special + Final Selection, aka “Clip show” and Love Hina Again… Must get the manga now… Can’t resist brain-washing…
Oh drats, I just broke my rule for not blogging lengthy entries this week…
