Gundam SEED has ugly mechas. Really really ugly. Heck, even Gundam Wing had cooler mecha designs. For some reason I hate the character designs too. Argh… The storyline is pretty deja vu too. Earth vs Zeon… I mean PLANT. Some random boy got thrown into a top secret mobile suit and managed to defeat the enemy without training. Of course, he doesn’t like war and fighting so everytime he kills, he goes into the trademarked “main character angst” mode. Then of course, sooner of later the lines start to blur and you start to wonder just which side is supposed to be the good guys. Throw in a bit romance and and the fact that the main character’s best friend is on the enemies’ side bam! Yet another Gundam series…

But I just can’t stop watching it… I’m a sucker for this type of storyline. T.T Sigh… 50 episodes is a bit too many though. Why do they have to make all the Gundam series so long?

Meanwhile, I’m still stucked at D.N. Angel episode 13 and Kiddy Grade episode 10. These two series have such GREAT beginnings but the middles are “meh”. I heard that the endings are ok, so hopefully I can manage to watch pass these boring filler episodes.
