Dark

I got myself DN Angel volume 1 to 7 and Negima volume 3. Chuangyi chinese comics seem to cost less than their english ones… WHY?! Does translating to english cost more? Does english use up more ink? Pfffft…

The DN Angel manga is somewhat different from the anime, in fact some of the differences are important plot details, like the part about Dark liking Riku. I’m pretty sure that in the anime, Dark didn’t like anyone except for Riku and Risa’s grandmother who left him 40 years ago. In fact, Dark specifically mentioned that Riku was not his type.

Anyway speaking of DN Angel, there was a review of it in MAGE. Let’s just say I’m never going to read MAGE reviews of anime I’ve not yet seen. They review animes without thinking about the spoilers they are giving out. Basically the whole plot of DN Angel except for the absolute ending was given in the review. [spoiler coming up] Like how Daisuke eventually ended up liking Riku, which by the way, happened in the later half of the series…

This also goes for their Kiddy Grade review, which gave away the part about [spoiler coming up] Alv disguising herself as Eclair and taking the position of Director Proxy, which happened at around episode 17 and was quite an important revelation. (well you could’ve guessed it earlier if you paid attention to the episodes before that, but still, a review shouldn’t even have reached that part of the story)

UPDATE: BTW a Mahou Sensei Negima OVA series is in the works. If the OVAs do well enough, there’s hope for a full series!
