Celebrations!

OUR HISTORY TEACHER GOT SACKED! WOOHOO!!! (or as the new teacher put it, “left the school”) If you don’t understand why I’m so happy, go search the archives for “history”.

The new teacher seems quite competent. The class is actually engaged in a lesson as opposed to a penmanship exercise. I learnt more stuff from this one single lesson than all the previous ones combined.

Not much good news other than that. Felt tired throughout the lesson because I spent 6 hours walking around Orchard yesterday. The 6M class gathering had some “logistics” problems. (ie. nobody planned where to go) In the end they went bowling. Since Azure and I suck at bowling, we went laming around Kinokuniya. I ended up spending $20 dollars on Newtype USA… I was looking for the Japanese version but the Japanese magazine shelves are in a mess and it was beyond human ability to locate it.

After the others finished bowling, we went to Marche for lunch. The food taste good, but they are so damn expensive. ;_; ($3 for a scoop of ice-cream? WTF? Did the milk come from a cow that eats CASH for food?) Another $20 dollars gone. The others wanted to catch a movie, so we walked all the way back to Cineleisure and no one can decide what to watch because the screen times are all too late or the movies suck. We lamed around more and suddenly it’s 4pm already. Suddenly someone suggested to go Plaza Singapura and try the cinema there… Needless to say, Azure and I left… I got some CD-Rs and RWs on the way back.

All in all, 8 hours of laming around and doing nothing. “A typical class outing” – Azure.
