New Gundam series next October!… Apparently.
Fresh from the rumour mill. According to Moon Phase Zakki sources, a new Gundam series will start airing October next year. Many valorous spies paid the ultimate sacrifice to bring us this information.

Translation:
New Gundam series, starts airing October next year!… Apparently.
Taking over the time slot of Ayakashi Ayashi, a new Gundam series will air during the Saturday 6pm slot next year. The director will be Seiji Mizushima. Although this is, technically, an internal leak, it is not confirmed whether the project is really proceeding as stated.
You can just feel the journalistic confidence oozing out of this little article… On another note, Seiji Mizushima is most well-known as the director of Full Metal Alchemist.
Unlike most people, I still have hopes for the SEED franchise, especially if a new director is being brought in to continue the series. While it is not certain if the new Gundam series will continue the C.E. timeline, or indeed whether it even exists at this moment, I have this to say: BRING STELLAR BACK!!!
P.S. Moon Phase has also confirmed, with information from Comiket 70, that the third Nanoha series will be a full-fledged TV series and not OVAs. I don’t care for Nanoha, but it’s on the same page as this news so might as well….

Ok lets all just calm down and by the by to anyone who likes Wing, I have 2 problems with that series, 1 how does the buster rifle work and if it is so powerful why didn’t Hero use it on Lebra in the final episode, I mean really two shots and the hole thing would go boom. the 2nd is that total pacafisum will never work. Why because people will always have different views and if views clash people will fight for their ideals.
And you people are proving my point by yelling at each other.
UC fans I hate to say it but I think Uc is dead, I liked that series but it came out a long time ago.
CE fans did you know they are making a Movie of seed so I don’t think this new series will be seed. I have heard it will start a new series something about some human competly geneticly engenered and the human is put in the front lines of some war, over time he/she starts to struggle with who they are. And the human Goes crazy and turnes on its makes. This series has a Bourne aspect to it and it will show that the Human is on stopable not its Gundam.

I think that gundam wing kinda sucks, no specific plot wat so ever..
Lets admit it gundam seed was the best gundam series that we have seen..
But gundam destiny was a disappoinment because they use the same scene over and over again..the story also sucks because it was like gundam seed..from the attack in the zaft base ( in gs it was in a neutral colony ) just to get a gundam.
I just want to see that therre will be a closure to the story of Kira and Lacus, Cagali And Athrun…then move on to new characters…
Gundam’s will continue to improve because of the time frame of each Gundam series, its continuosly moving forward to the future…
Bigger Guns!!! Bigger explosions!!! Better Gundams!!!
they should also make kira and lacus kiss for the love of God!!

If you check Wikipedia’s page on Gundam SEED’s movie (it’s known as Mobile Suit Gundam SEED: The Movie in that site, and click on the Gunota Headlines link, they did mention the 5 main characters, as well as a phrase translated as: “their path takes us…”
Obviously, the phrase itself meant that the 5 characters (Shinn, Athrun, Kira, Cagalli and Lacus) will be the main focus to bringing peace in the C.E. universe, or whatever the sentence meant. Shinn’s already on Kira’s side, so we’ll see more of the good way of SEED mode in him (not the kind when one goes berserk in SEED).

After reading a bunch of posts after my last post months ago… I was surprised to know that this topic went on… If I remember it right, at my last post, I just finished watching the 14 sec trailer of Gundam Double 0 in YouTube. I expected this topic to end after that… Oh well
Double O is coming people… So what exactly are we expecting?
Good stroy? Better MS design? Better plot twists? Better game? What kind of game? What kind of soundtack? Who’s gonna be singin for the intro and outro? Or perhaps a much clearer technical background. (If SEED didn’t give enough technical background for you, better just watch NGC, they show war machines there from time to time and all they show are the technical stuff).
I’m expecting that they won’t do to what they did to Heine and Miguel.
Those two are like tributes for the singer of TM Revolution (forgot the name) but they like freakin killed them right after introducing them. What’s up with that? Did they hate TM Revolution so much that they decided to back stab him like that??? Er… not back stab, perhaps Slice. ^^ Both of them did get kill via the swords.
People saying Wikipedia isn’t reliable, fine… where else would you get info about anything here nowadays? Everything on the net could be altered by just about anyone else too you know. Just because we base our arguements on Wikipedia, doesn’t mean it’s completely unreliable.

Mobile Suits are a probable reality, and so are the DRAGOON system, and whatever you see on any Gundam show. It doesn’t mean that if we base future tech on animated shows, doesn’t mean their impossible to come true.
People once said that future tech in movies are impossible. Now NGC frequently shows that the very basis for the development of the current tecnology we have now, are more or less from the movies or TV shows.

You mentioned something there like Mobile Suit like armor development, right? You said it was Russia… Well according to my resources, aside from Japan developing Robot Technology, Israel is also developing their own…
According to my resources, Israel is said to be studying the development of real robots which could be used in military warfare. This can be backed up by the constant war between Israel and Palestine, as this war goes on, more and more soldiers are lost. In theory, Israel plans to replace their infantry with mobile armored walkers capable of human-like mobility with the protection of heavy tanks. Not completely sure if this is real, but my sources say…
Japan on the otherhand does not produce robots for war.

Japan won’t be producing any powerful military technology in the near future because of the treaty they are under within the United Nations. Within this treaty, it is said that Japan cannot expand their military power to a large scale and they cannot use weaponry explicitly for Japan to use alone. Development of military technology in Japan is governed and under close watch by the United Nation. If I’m not mistaken. The UN made this treaty in fear of the events that took place in World War 2. Japan being the last of the Axis to give surrender probably cause them this. This treaty is said to last for a really really long time… We might all be dead before that happens.
If you ask me, I think that the leaders of UN we’re probably scared of the determination of the Japanese people to win the war that they thought this would cause them to lose any war that would be held in the future. Or perhaps they saw that Japan had the capability to rise because of predicted increase in technology. Although the second case seems unlikely since the leading nation in technology back then was in Europe.

I saw this show in NGC once where the arm of a paralyzed person can be ordered to move again, by the brain, via a computer. To cut the technical explaination short… Brain sends signals to muscles, gadget attached to person recieve the signals, since the muscles cannot properly “understand” the signal because it is “jammed” due to paralysis, the computer in the gadget “un-jams” the signals then sends it to the other end towards the muscles making the arm and hands move again…
The relevance of this in Gundam… Think G Gundam.

Apart from that, I hope the new serie will be as thrilling as Gundam Wing, with an extraordinary plot and magnificent characters.
