Help fight lolicon!
Okay, so this isn’t exactly the post that everyone’s been waiting for. I’ll blog about today’s Wesada-Shibuya High School bunkasai later. Maybe tomorrow. Anyway…
Say NO to lolicon!
Help light a candle today!
The innocent victims of Internet child abuse cannot speak for themselves.
But you can.
With your help, we can eradicate this evil trade.
We do not need your money.
We need you to light a candle of support.
We’re aiming to light at least One Million Candles by December 31, 2006.
This petition will be used to encourage governments, politicians, financial institutions, payment organisations, Internet service providers, technology companies and law enforcement agencies to eradicate the commercial viability of online child abuse.
They have the power to work together. You have the power to get them to take action.
Please light your candle at lightamillioncandles.com or send an email of support to light [at] lightamillioncandles dot com.
Together, we can destroy the commercial viability of Internet child abuse sites that are destroying the lives of innocent children.
Kindly forward this email to your friends, relatives and work colleagues so that they can light a candle too.
Fully endorsed by Mahoro!

Lolicon literally means pedophilia(sp?). But to me, it just means Louise and Shana are moé, even though I know I’m spamming incorrect usage of terms.

Stop Child Porn, yes.
Stop Lolicon, no.
They’re drawn, they’re no victims!
And if you want to bring up the argument of people being encouraged to rape little children through lolicon, please start a petition against first-person shooter as well.

Oh come on. I can’t believe you people are taking this seriously. I guess no one read my previous entries on lolicon… orz

Well, you’re right, I didn’t read it.
Sorry for taking your (very, very, very) bad joke seriously =P

FYI Evilitschi, if you have bothered to look up the proper meaning or at least referred to one of his previous posts, you would know that lolicon (ロリコン) is the direct japanese translation of paedophile. Answers your question? Anyway this debate was settled quite a few months back.

Dark:
I know the Japanese meaning of the word “lolicon”.
But in the Western World “lolicon” only refers to drawn (of course Japanese Style [=Manga, Anime]) “child porn”, if you can still call it like that. And with him putting an Anime character, I thought of nothing but the drawn ones.

You realize that lolicon is victimless…
Also, lolicon would refer to any and all Suzumiya Haruhi hentai, which I’m sure you’ve seen your share of.

Evilitschi: Well I understand, considering that I myself did not notice the difference until DM pointed it out. Sorry about that.
Seems like someone decided to ignore all the previous comments.

I know this is WAY late in the game, but I can’t believe how many of you took this seriously. This is just a joke, and using Mahoro as a spokesman is *hilarious.* Because Mahoro told me to, I will light a candle to stop lolicon.

FUCK YOU lolicon is a fiction, not real. Why violent films should to be legal and not lolicon?
If you don’t like it , don’t see it!

1. There actualy have been people trying to pass laws against lolicon, but ilegalizing it violates the first ammendment.
2. I agree entirely with Otokoyama. hooray for the first ammendment! (^.^)

From the lack of signs on this petition it just shows that nobody really cares. If you honestly think Lolicon and Pedophiles are the same thing then you’re the one messed up in the head. Being a loli fan myself I can honestly say that I have never had any interest in real life underrage girls. I just like Loli like I like Hentai. There is no actual harm done to any physical persons so therefore you can’t ban fictional art.
