Fumoffu!

Been watching Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu! these few days. It’s a sequel/spin-off of Full Metal Panic that concentrates on Sagaras’ life in high school after he was retired from the mercenary army Mithril at the end of the original series. FMP? Fumoffu is a LOT more hilarious and light-hearted than the original. There are still plenty of military craziness from Sergent Sagaras but no one dies as far as I can see in the whole series, unlike the original which was set on a more series tone and focused a lot on the hardships of war at the later parts of the series. (and plenty of people died too) Fumoffu was done by Kyoto Animation and not Gonzo which did the original, but all the animations and character designs are still the same.

Teletha “Tessa” Testarossa is my new favourite anime character. She looks kind of like the 15-year-old Ruri.

BTW, if you want to know what Fumoffu means, watch the series yourself. :X

UPDATE: I just realized how fricking slow fansubbers are. Bottle Fairy and Tsukihime episode 7 raws are all over the IRC right now, but where the hell are the subs?!?! ZzZZzzz… I’m guessing they are still downloading the raws from IRC at a breakneck speed of 4kps. Yup that’s right, I was forced to reinstall mIRC so I can leech in all the fansub groups’ channels and know the moment a new episode is released… Animesuki.com’s update rate is a bit too slow for my liking. Conveniently, every single fansub group in existence use the same IRC server. w00t!
