Summer

Finished Narue no Sekai yesterday. Pretty cute series. The ED, Ice-Cream, drew me in for some reason… translated the lyrics:

Meeting you was a coincidence,
An accident under a spot of sunlight on a sleepy hill road.

With the partially eaten lavender-flavoured ice-cream,
you dyed my pure white heart a shade of peach.

I knew that it would happen someday,
but I thought it was still far away.

I wasn’t supposed to fall in love like this,
and though it annoyed me,
for the time it takes for the ice-cream to melt,
I think I will give loving you a chance.

Sweet, cold and sour,
the time we spend together is swaying in the seven colours of the rainbow.

Though it’s summer, which I don’t usually like,
I don’t mind if it’s just a little longer this year.

Although I know that it will someday melt away,
I want to embrace it for eternity……

My heart was spinning and so I drew a picture,
but nothing came except emotions.
I am afraid that the ice-cream will melt,
because I’ve only just tried something new.

I wasn’t supposed to fall in love like this,
and though it annoyed me,
I put that melting but unmelting transience into my mouth.
I think I will give loving you a chance.

Someone already did the romanji lyrics… they are here. The song fits the series quite nicely. =)
