Posted on the blog of Tatsuo Satou (佐藤竜雄), the director of Stellvia and Nadesico:

It has become impossible for there to be a sequel to “Uchuu no Stellvia” (Stellvia). The planning for “Uchuu no Stellvia 2” that had been going on for some time has been terminated, and the same goes for “Kidou Senkan Nadesico” (Martian Successor Nadesico).

Thanks to everyone who has been concerned over this.
I still do not know what I will be doing after this, but I will post it here when I have made up my mind. See you.

What the heck. I didn’t even know that there was going to be a sequel to Nadesico and now it’s gone. On the other hand, couldn’t care less about Stellvia 2.
