JLPTにさよなら!…多分。
The end is close. This will hopefully be the last JLPT paper that I will ever have to take in my life. Never again will I have to travel to that god forsaken school located in the middle of nowhere to suffer for hours, enduring freezing coldness and uncomfortably small chairs.
Yup, I just received my JLPT notification. The test venue is Japanese School (Changi Campus) yet again. Looks like I will never get a chance to take the test in one of the more easily accessible alternative test sites. Maybe it’s just destiny.
So, who else is awaiting the arrival of December 3rd? :P

Good luck, DarkMirage and everyone else taking the exams~
I’m curious, guest, as to how you’re studying? Know any good places to learn here in England?

How many languages do you know, DM?

:Mark
Self-study. If there is a place to be taught here, it probably isn’t anywhere near me. And I couldn’t afford it anyway.

Wow wow wow. So many questions.
LianYL: eroge and song lyrics.
kikuchiyo: No way. You use lvl2 grammar in real-life ALL the time. Archaic forms are in lvl1.
stevency: lol.
Soulshift: おっす!
guest: Almost exactly 4 years.
Yumeka: Both are used.
Tess: Depends on the level. Lvl 4 and 3 don’t really require much kanji knowledge.
Beowulf: Three. English, Japanese and Mandarin Chinese.

I’ll be taking Level 1 this year at the Todai (Tokyo University) Arts & Sciences campus… which is awesome for me since I live across the street from the school. Hopefully, I won’t fail level 1 like I did last year. T_T
Good luck on your test (I assume you’re taking level 1)!

Haaa.. I want to study Jap in a classroom too, but I can’t… all I know of Japanese is what I’ve learned from anime and songs. Still, Lucky me, I’m Korean meaning that the syntax+kanji isn’t much of a problem, haha.

LOL tkaing JLPT 1 like DM (however im sure i wont make it) to those taking lvl 2, er..its like what DM said, lvl 2 is what japanese people use all the time so try to master it ^^. lvl 1 is yeah archaic? weeeeee, good luck to all pple taking jlpt regardless of level ( to those taking lvl 2, since its mostly general knowledge of the language, if u have difficulty, its most likely u are not up to it yet) but still all the best.

I know, but what happens if you fail ?
Are you allowed to participate again and again?
(Just wait another year and do it again?)
Or are there some limits…
