   The second comparison image was comparing a scene from some ero-game turned anime with a scene from the original ero-game. Everyone knows still images from erogames are waaaaay better and have more quality!

    Ok I guess I should explain.

    The whole meme started in 2ch because episode 3 had such crappy animations. The cabbage was used by the 2ch people as a rallying point because that scene showed an obvious lack of quality and also because it didn’t really look like a cabbage.

    So anyway, 2ch people were are going “CABBAGE!!!” in every AkeRuri-related thread and posting pictures of cabbages in everything.

    Akihabara, being the cutting edge of otaku in-jokes, did the same and this shop parodied the original LG advertisement, which is the third picture up there.

    JEEZ GUYS! Jokes aren’t meant to be explained.
